All Cabarets and Balls are now held at the Ballroom Function Centre (Ukrainian Hall), 64-66 Orsmond Street Hindmarsh, South Australia. The floor is a sprung Jarrah floor which makes your feet happy. The venue is a place of grandeur and brings back elegance to the dancing scene. The dances have a theme and if you wish, you can dress to theme. We can only accommodate 120 people per session. This allows us to keep the dance floor to a size of about 22 metres by 11 metres to ensure there is adequate space to dance.

These Cabarets / Balls are theme events with decorations  match the theme. You can dress to match the theme if you wish or just attend in appropriate attire. Singles and couples are welcome. BYO basket supper and drinks. It is just $20 per person for a dance session.

 

Please Note: due ongoing rent increases, we are no longer able to absorb those increases, therefore  as off 2024 there will be a price increase to $25.

 

We run two sessions on the day.

Other people will be placed in the vacant table seats if required.

Afternoon session is 2pm to 6pm

This session suits people that don't like to drive at night or have other functions to attend during the evening.

Generally there is more room to dance as this session is not fully booked.

 

Evening session is 7pm to 11pm

This session is very popular and has many regular attendees, but we normally have some free seats.

​

New Years Eve Ball

This differs from our usual Cabaret as it only the evening session for that day.

It will have a request bracket being 7.00 pm until 8.00 pm, followed by the dance program 8.00 pm to 1.00 am.

The cost is $25 per person and is a ticketed event. Tickets go on sale around July of that year.
